ARTIST TO WATCH: Arilena Ara

"The X Factor" is known for launching the careers of stars such as One Direction, Cher Lloyd, and Little Mix. Now, it's introducing a new talent: Arilena Ara. After amassing virality throughout Eastern Europe, Arilena is releasing her debut U.S. single “Weightless” on June 20. Keep reading to find out more! 

Arilena began dominating the stage in singing competitions at a very young age. In 2013, at the age of 14, she competed in and won "The X Factor Albania". And if there was one thing this taught her, it was that she loved being on the stage. Over the past decade, she has continued to compete and dominate in music competitions. She has even become a judge on "The X Factor Albania", a presenter on "Piranjat", and a juror on the kids' version of "The X Factor Albania". 

She burst onto the scene in 2021 with the release of her debut album, Pop Art The Album, which was a massive success across Eastern Europe. This R&B and hip-hop-blending record included hit tracks such as "Alligator", "Obsession", and "Murderer".  She even snagged her first #1 with the hit from the album, "Ke me mungu", in 2021. Arilena is just one album in, and she is already proving she is a force to be reckoned with.
