Nominations for the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were recently announced and many crowd favorites were recognized. If you're looking to catch up on the latest, hottest shows but need to be in a certain mindset to indulge in them, this is your guide to approaching the Emmy-nominated shows according to every mood you’re in!

Mood: Hopeful

Show: "Jury Duty"

“Jury Duty” was a sleeper hit earlier this summer, earning a pleasantly surprising Outstanding Comedy Series nomination this year. A reality-slash-scripted show hybrid that has won the hearts of many, “Jury Duty” is a show that displays the best of humanity with its eclectic cast and heartfelt bonding moments between the 12 jurors. Actor James Marsden gives a hilarious performance as an insufferable actor archetype version of himself, and unexpected juror Ronald Gladden is great sport throughout the series. The show is a testimony to the goodness of humanity and an overall feel-good watch that is sure to fill your heart with hope and joy.  Where to Watch: Amazon Freevee

Mood: Ambitious

Show: "Succession"

A show that has garnered a massive following since its 3-season release, the 4th and final season of the grand media saga “Succession” is just as unexpected and thrilling as its previous seasons. With an Outstanding Drama Series title already under its belt, “Succession” is a poignant satire about the rich, powerful, yet dysfunctional Roy family. The three siblings, Kendall, Shiv and Roman Roy, are tied in a seemingly relentless struggle for top executive power (or perhaps their father’s love and affection?). The Roy family members take ruthless steps to clamber on top of one another, and seeing the drastic measures they take to one-up each other is sure to get your adrenaline pumping and ambitions soaring to skyscraping levels. Mood: Up For a Quest!

Show: "Only Murders In the Building"

“Only Murders In the Building” was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, and the unlikely detective trio of Selena Gomez and comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short never fails to disappoint. The show follows the three neighbors as they solve a mysterious case of murder in their apartment building complex in New York City, all the while documenting their findings by recording a quirky crime podcast. Pull out your thinking cap, flex those detective muscles, and join the gang for Season 3 (premiering August 8) as they continue their hijinks while on a winding quest for the murder suspect. Look out for stakeouts, blackouts, and — of course — podcast rivalry. Where to Watch: Hulu

Mood: Itching For a Getaway

Show: "The White Lotus"

Every season of “The White Lotus” is a lavish vacation. But unlike your normal beach vacation, the guests of “The White Lotus” are in for a much wilder and more twisted ride -- on the beaches of Hawaii in Season 1 and through the coasts of Sicily in Season 2. Another nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, the second season of the show follows an ensemble cast of couples on vacation and an Italian-American family tracing family roots. You’ll be taken on a ride full of mystery and marvel, navigating through complicated relationship conflicts while feasting your eyes on the most beautiful Italian coastal views. Throw on a robe, grab a pair of hotel slippers, and immerse yourself in the full White Lotus getaway experience! Where to Watch: Max

Mood: Girlboss Moment!

Show: "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel"

There is no doubt that Mrs. Maisel is the epitome of what a girlboss is. “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” follows the exciting life of New York City housewife-turned standup comedian Miriam “Midge” Maisel (talk about a career change!). Set in the 1950s, the show perfectly captures what it means to be a woman in a male-dominated career field and achieve tremendous success against all the odds. It’s a long winding path to success as a standup comedian, and the series captures all the highs and lows of her career in show business. Midge goes from sneakily hiding her talent for the stage to performing in the grandest theaters in NYC. From housewife to standup megastar, that’s a certified #girlboss success story!
