Actress Madeline Zima involved in Hollywood car crash

Californication actress Madeline Zima has escaped unharmed after crashing her car in West Hollywood.

The star was driving on Sunset Boulevard on Saturday night (05Jul14) when she smashed into the back of an SUV (sports utility vehicle) and had to have her vehicle towed away.

Video footage of the accident aftermath, obtained by TMZ.com, shows the hood of Zima's white car badly damaged as police officers tend to the scene of the incident.

No injuries were reported in the crash and no arrests were made. A distraught Zima was asked what happened by a TMZ videographer, but refused to comment as she was being comforted by a friend.
