We have a new Miss Universe! On November 21, 2025, Mexico’s Fátima Bosch took home the crown during the 74th edition of the competition. The highly anticipated event took place at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret Nonthaburi, Thailand. She won against 130 other contestants, with her runner-up being Miss Thailand’s Praveenar Singh

Bosch’s road to victory was not an easy one. She was bullied by Thai businessman and National Director of Miss Universe Thailand, Nawat Itsaragrisil. When the contestants attended a talk in Thailand hosted by Itsaragrisil on November 4, Itsaragrisil criticized Bosch for not participating in certain promotional activities for the pageant and its host country. He also made hurtful remarks toward her, calling her "dumb". This mistreatment led Bosch and her fellow contestants to walk out of the event. However, Bosch didn’t let this unfortunate encounter steal her spark. She impressed the judges with her charisma, talent and intelligence. Here are six facts you should know about Fátima Bosch!
