5 Seconds of Summer star's screaming fans damage his hearing

Screaming fans have cost 5 Seconds Of Summer star Michael Clifford his perfect hearing at the age of 18.

The Australian boyband member reveals the noise at shows and appearances have started to affect his health.

The singer/guitarist tells Billboard.com, "I went to a hearing check-up, and I've actually lost high-pitched... noises in my right ear. I think they've lowered or something."

His bandmate, drummer Ashton Irwin, adds, "That's the effect it (fans' screaming) has."
