5 Celebrity TV Cameos We'll Never Forget!
We love it when our favorite TV characters get into their usual hijinks -- but throw some celebrity cameos into the mix, and we are on a whole 'nother level! Whether they are playing heightened versions of themselves or completely new characters, this group of celebrities made an unforgettable impression on some of our most beloved TV heroes!
1. Taylor Swift in "New Girl"
Imagine you are watching the season finale of "New Girl". It's Cece and Shivrang’s wedding day, and you are secretly hoping for something to go wrong so that Cece can be with Schmidt… And suddenly, out of nowhere, a girl confesses her love for Shivrang. And that girl is none other than Miss Taylor Swift! Swift plays Shivragn’s long-lost love, Elaine, who Shivrang is still in love with, so the two decide to run away together and elope in Las Vegas.
Swift is no stranger to acting, as she has multiple acting credits from Valentine’s Day to The Giver, and yet the last thing I would expect to see was Taylor Swift’s very own "Speak Now" moment in "New Girl"!
2. One Direction in "iCarly"
The One Direction cameo in "iCarly" was the prime of Nickelodeon and I don’t agree to disagree!
I can still hear Harry Styles innocently say to Carly, ‘‘Could I have some more fruits? And could you cut them into little cubes, the way that you do?’’ When Harry, Louis, Liam, and Zayn all make a guest appearance in "iCarly", things don't really go according to plan. Harry gets sick right before their performance of "What Makes You Beautiful", and we all know that the song can’t be complete without Harry’s infamous solo!
To find out how the band and the iCarly crew manage to save the day, you’ll have to hop on the nostalgia train and watch "iCarly"’s One Direction episode!
3. Stevie Nicks in "American Horror Story"
Stevie Nicks had the most magical celebrity cameo moment when she became a part of "American Horror Story: Coven" (Season 3). The singer blended in perfectly with her all-black outfit, goth jewelry, and mythical energy flowing with the season’s theme.
With her witchy aesthetic throughout her career, Stevie Nicks made everyone wonder whether she was actually a witch or not, so when she appeared in "AHS: Coven", the show writers decided to lean into this perception and reveal Stevie Nicks to be a witch, who is a part of the same coven as Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Emma Roberts!
4. Kim & Khloe Kardashian in "90210"
Does it get more Beverly Hills than having Kim Kardashian bring you outfit options from Dash? In the episode "Senior Year, Baby", Kim and Khloe have an emergency fashion meeting with 90210’s popular it girl, Naomi, at a beach club. The meeting soon turns into a heated argument between the famous sisters and Naomi, when Naomi calls Kim K a "b*tch" and Khloe is not happy about it.
It's almost like a scene out of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", 2010 Edition!
5. Pete Wentz in "One Tree Hill"
It sounds unreal to casually say Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy briefly dated Peyton from "One Tree Hill", who was in high school at the time… and he actually spent a night with the Tree Hill crew at a cabin house!? Well, this unusual romance kind of makes sense, considering Peyton was running a popular music club called Tric in Tree Hill where she often met musicians as part of her job. Still, it was a pretty crazy moment to witness Pete Wentz making breakfast in the kitchen one random morning! So can we blame Brooke for thinking it was a dream and for going for the kiss?
HONORABLE MENTION: Joe Biden in "Parks and Recreation"
Back when he was just the Vice President, current POTUS Joe Biden made quite the memorable appearance on NBC's "Parks and Recreation". Prior to this episode, main character Leslie Knope had made it quite clear what a huge crush she had on the VP, so when she finally came face to face with him... well, let's just say, "Ben who??"
