Wyclef Jean's lunch in New York on Thursday (06Oct11) nearly ended in disaster when he left an iPad full of his new music in a Manhattan restaurant.
The former Fugees star dined at Brother Jimmy's and left the venue without his Apple gadget, but a member of staff chased after him and handed the device back.
Wyclef Jean was extremely grateful to the staff member, as the iPad contained a number of his new songs, according to the New York Post's Page Six column.
He reportedly said, "You saved my day! All my new music was on here!"
