Usher Confirmed As The Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Performer!
Usher’s got a “Confession” and it’s an exciting one!
On Sunday, September 24, the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation announced that the one and only Usher will be headlining the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show! The Grammy-winning artist will grace the stage in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024, on CBS. Usher had some help announcing the exciting news from several friends, including Kim Kardashian, Deion Sanders, Marshawn Lynch, and Odell Beckham Jr.
“It is definitely going to be a moment to remember,” Usher said in an interview with Apple Music. “This is the most grand stage to ever play on. Those 13 minutes mean everything. It’s been on my bucket list for a long time.”
With Usher’s incredible catalogue of iconic hits such as “U Don’t Have to Call”, “Scream”, and “My Way”, this performance for sure will be a party whether you’re in the stands or in your living room! The “Yeah!” singer has also collaborated with a myriad of talented artists including Ludacris, Justin Bieber, Juicy J, Pitbull, will.i.am, Nicki Minaj, and Alicia Keys, to name a few. A big question on everyone’s minds is which, if any, guests will be accompanying the star on the stage!
“Well, one thing I can say is, I’ve collaborated with a lot of incredible artists throughout the years. I’d like to hear who you think would be a great guest to complement this,” Usher joked. “So, there’ll be more Sundays to talk about this leading up to the grand Sunday of it all.”
Usher will be among an iconic lineup of past performers that include Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Prince, Diana Ross, Madonna, the Rolling Stones, and, most recently, Rihanna in February in this year.
While we wait closer toward Super Bowl Sunday for more deets, fans have drawn up some of their own halftime set list predictions and hilarious suggestions… just in case Usher is watching (*wink wink!*):
If Usher really wants to shake the nation he’ll have the Somebody to Love remix be part of his Super Bowl set…Stadium goes dark. Justin Bieber stands under a single spotlight. Purple snapback on, backpack in hand.

Usher’s Super Bowl accomplishment comes amid a few other big milestones! Las Vegas is not unfamiliar to the singer, as he has been hosting his My Way -- The Vegas Residency since July 2022 at the Dolby Live indoor amphitheater at the Park MGM Hotel and Casino. The show is set to wind down at the end of this year. Usher will also be releasing his 9th studio album, Coming Home, on the same day as his big performance! The 20-track album has features with Summer Walker and 21 Savage. Since the release of his 1994 self-titled album debut, Usher has had 4 No.1 albums, including his diamond-certified 2004 Confessions album, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year! The star has also had 18 Hot 100 Top 10 singles and 9 Billboard Hot 100 No.1 singles!
Tune in to the Super Bowl LVIII and Apple Music Halftime show on February 11, 2024, on CBS!
