Tod Hallman Fashion Blog: Oliver Rayn Takes Menswear From the Beach to the Boardroom

Hey everyone! It’sTod Hallman, fashion stylist forYoungHollywood.com, and I’m excited that my very first fashionblog/post is about a brand we’ve grown to love here atYH.

Oliver Rayn, the joint brain child of Glenn Shelhamer and Piper Gore, was born one sunny LA day, as the two friends jogged along the Santa Monica Pier. From that very first conversation -- of what they wanted to wear, but couldn’t find -- came Oliver Rayn, a line of beach-inspired menswear to take you from the sand to the city, with the look and feel as if the garment has been left on the back deck in the warm summer sun for years. The name Oliver Rayn combines the two things that mean the most to the pair: Oliver is Glenn’s dog ,and Raynie is Piper’s niece.

Stylist and Fashion Show Producer Tod Hallman has worked with such diverse talents as the cast of Desperate Housewives, Jennifer Hudson, Jodie Foster, Drew Barrymore, Christian Bale, Samuel L. Jackson, John Cusack, Regina King, and Owen Wilson. His production company THP inc. has produced fashion shows for Alberta Ferretti, Carolina Herrera, Cole Haan, and Kevan Hall.
