Hey guys, Audrey Cleo here, just checking out the dreamy pieces from the LC Runway Collection by Lauren Conrad and we're getting the details from the fashion mogul herself on her new venture. With the lovely fashion mogul herself, Lauren Conrad. Thanks for having us. Thanks for coming in. I'm very excited because this is like fashion heaven and Thank you. And it's mobile too. Yeah, no, this, this wasn't here a week ago. They built it for us. Well, tell me about LC Runway. This is your limited edition runway collection. I know it's vintage inspired, it's also kind of romantic. It's more like vampy.

Um, it just we definitely want like a moodier palette, sort of like you know, boudoir, like the little, you know, fine lace and the little like lingerie straps and we get to kind of go outside of our comfort zone and take some chances and do more fashion forward pieces. So, it's definitely something that we have a lot of fun with. What was your inspiration for this? It's different every time. So this time we actually started with a color palette. We were saying, we want this to feel still true to the brand, but definitely like a departure. So we started with kind of the cabernet and the darker colors and kind of sort of looking at it, embellishment.

We knew we want to have a lot of luxe fabrics in here. So we have like the faux fur and the knits and the slight shine in some of these and then we did several velvet pieces, which were really fun. So we, we did that and then we kind of just went from there. Okay. So I have to admit, I went on a little Laguna Beach/The Hills binge recently. No, don't apologize. That's like 15 hours of my life. I don't want back. It was, it's a lot of hours. So I'm just curious because you've seen you evolve so much. Like, did you ever think that you would have the career that you have now? No, absolutely not. I knew I would be in this industry, cuz it was always, you know, what I wanted to do.

It's what I went to school for, but no, I mean, the show obviously gave me a platform that I was able to take advantage of and you know, grow a business from there. So, I think in my dreams. Yeah. But, but no, I've been so lucky. Well, I know that your fans are always just wanting to know what's the next big trend and what, because because you are such a trendsetter. You are such a tastemaker. So for you, what, what are you really stoked on right now? Um, a lot of things in this room. The slip dress, I'm obsessed with right now. Super nineties. I love that. Looking at this collection, you wouldn't think nineties, but there are a lot of nineties trends in here. Yeah, I love this.

So yeah, it's, it's subtle, but yes, there's definitely, I think that nineties is so big right now. Is there another favorite piece that you have? So we did these dresses, I just like the silhouette because I feel like this is one of those that are just really flattering on everybody and it's very simple but it's nice to wear, you know, to a wedding or a special event. I like doing dresses for special events because I feel like you get to like get dolled up in them, so you feel really special. So I like being a part of anyone's evening like that. Well, what's your favorite way to wind down? I'm curious because you are so busy with your brand and so busy with so many different projects.

I mean, when I have time off, I, I do nothing. I just lounge. Oh yeah. Like if I can have a day off to do nothing. Cuz I usually end up working weekends too. So if I get like a day where I'm like, I have nothing on my calendar today. I do nothing. Sweatpants. I cannot imagine you in sweatpants. I don't know. Oh my God, I wear so many sweatpants. Really? Yes. I wear like joggers. Oh, I love joggers. Yeah. That's a good staple to have. Boys don't love them. You know who likes them? Um, pro football players. Yes. Yes, that is. You should, I have an idea for you. What is it? LC LC joggers. LC, LC, NFL. Perfect. I There's something there. There really is.
