Timbaland inks special deal with Sony

Superproducer Timbaland has landed a unique deal with entertainment giant Sony to feature his music in a variety of film and TV projects.

The Way I Are hitmaker and his producer pal Mike 'Daddy' Evans inked the 75-track deal with Sony's Extreme Music earlier this week (begs18Apr11).

The company provides the soundtracks for shows such as Glee, Entourage and 30 Rock and supplied background music for sci-fi blockbuster Inception.

But Timbaland isn't the only hip-hop act to work with Extreme - Snoop Dogg has also previously worked with the firm, according to AllHipHop.com.
