Ranking All The New Songs From ‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’!

A Very Jonas Christmas Movie premiered on Disney+ on November 14, which also marked the release of its soundtrack, which features 10 songs in total, including a live and studio version of their 2019 single “Like It’s Christmas” and a live version of their 2019 hit, “Sucker”. It also features 7 new songs that were written just for the movie! Here’s our ranking of those 7 new songs:
7. "Home Alone"
This song may be last on our list, but it isn’t last in our hearts! It’s a hilarious duet between Nick Jonas and Andrew Barth Feldman from the fictional Home Alone: The Musical. It features crazy impressive vocals as their characters battle it out to try and out-sing each other. It’s intentionally melodramatic and over-the-top, which makes it super fun but kind of jarring to listen to out of context.
6. "Feel Something"
This duet between Joe Jonas and Chloe Bennet follows their characters as they debate whether or not they feel ready for a relationship. Their voices blend together really well, and the song’s bridge is really fun. As a whole, it just doesn’t feel as exciting as the soundtrack’s other songs. In other words, it’s a good song but leaves us wanting to "Feel Something" more...
5. "Time"
This upbeat song is one of the more Christmassy ones from the soundtrack. It’s about the 3 brothers wanting to spend time with their loved ones, making it a perfect song for the holiday season. It even features a rare solo from Kevin Jonas, who sings the song’s bridge!
4. "Remember When"
This nostalgic song features Nick Jonas’s character reflecting on the simpler times of his childhood. It has heartfelt lyrics and a calm vibe that makes it easy to listen to. Its corresponding scene in the movie also features adorable childhood home videos of all 3 brothers!
3. "Best Night"
Get ready to get on your feet for this one, because it’s the most danceable song on the soundtrack! This upbeat track is the first new song that appears in the film. It follows Joe Jonas’s character as he tries to convince his brothers to go out and celebrate the last night of their tour with him. Loaded with pop culture references and funny interruptions, it immediately sets the unserious and self-aware tone that makes the movie so fun to watch!
2. "Better Off Alone"
This song is a powerful duet between Nick and Joe Jonas. It follows the brothers’ characters as they go their separate ways because they believe that, you guessed it, they’re "Better Off Alone". This track is full of emotion, and the chorus that Nick and Joe sing together makes this a song you’ll definitely want to have on repeat!
1. "Coming Home This Christmas"
If you’re looking for a new song to add to your holiday playlist, this is it! The Jonas Brothers released it as a single on November 3, and it’s the perfect pop song to ring in the holidays. It even features a solo by Grammy-Award winning saxophonist, Kenny G!
