Pitbull is to be honoured with the President's Award at the BMI Latin Awards in Las Vegas in March (12).
The ceremony recognises songwriters and publishers behind the year's most successful Latin music.
Previous recipients of the President's Award - the event's highest trophy - include Juanes, Kike Santander and Gloria Estefan.
