The prequel to The Wizard of Oz, which stars Mila Kunis and James Franco, held on to the number one spot for the second week in a row, bumping its domestic total to $145 million, making it the highest-grossing film of 2013 thus far.
Halle Berry's thriller The Call came in second place with takings of $17.7 million, while Steve Carell's comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone debuted at three with ticket sales of $10.3 million.
Fantasy adventure film Jack the Giant Slayer came in fourth ($6.2 million) and Melissa McCarthy's Identity Thief ($4.5 million) rounded out the top five.
