Jesse Mccartney took a bold move for his new TV role in Army Wives by shaving off his beloved locks.
The Beautiful Soul hitmaker has joined the drama as Private Tim Truman, and to ensure he is convincing as a young soldier, McCartney bravely decided to have his spiky hairstyle chopped off.
He shares the moment with fans in a new video, which shows him looking nervous as a barber cuts his hair with an electric razor.
Speaking to the camera, he says, "My heart is racing."
