Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett has confirmed the virtual band is making a comeback.
The Feel Good Inc. hitmakers last released an album in 2011 and Hewlett's co-founder Damon Albarn has been working on solo projects and a new musical.
However, Hewlett has confirmed the group is preparing for a comeback by sharing his latest illustrations of the cartoon bandmembers on Instagram.com. He also responded to a fan's comment by writing, "Yes Gorillaz Returns".
