Welcome to Young Hollywood. What's up guys? Michelle Marie coming to you from the NBA 2K11 shoot. I'm here with the one and only Rajon Rondo, getting your little acting bug on. How do you feel about the shoot today? You've been doing some really fun scenes out there.
Yeah, definitely. I'm very excited about the shoot. Uh looking forward to continue to work with the guys out here on the set.
MJ is on the cover. It's got to be a great thing to be part of something like that. How has he really influenced you as a player over the years?
Um, he's influenced me a lot. You know, he's the one who is the greatest player to ever play the game. He's got that high work and dedication, so if I can continue to try to model that step and I'll be fine myself.
Great. There's a lot of young point guards like yourself that are really, really out there in the game right now. You, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Darren Williams. Now Darren says that he's actually the best point guard in the league. So if you were to actually formulate a team, who would you choose?
Uh, probably myself.
Yeah.
You know, he feels that way. I feel my way. I'm sure probably Derrick and Chris feel their own way, so.
Right.
Um, you know, it's about playing on the court and how you feel about yourself.
You guys are the Eastern Conference champions, and a lot of people are saying that the Heat's going to take the title. Do you find that as an insult or do you take that as a challenge for next season?
Um, really, I think me personally, I don't really care. You know, um, there's other teams in the East, you know, people overlook Orlando, so it'll be interesting, you know. A lot of people are probably going to be gunning for Cleveland, but, you know, we're still the champs.
Right. Exactly. And, you know, speaking of, we're actually here in L. A. and the Staples Center's right around the corner. How does it feel to be back here in L. A.? And do you have, you know, a bitter taste in your mouth or did you forget about the loss or do you look for that as motivation?
Well, I definitely didn't forget about the loss. It's my first time back since since the Game 7 loss, but
Mhm.
I'm fine.
You're good?
Yeah, you gotta move on. You know, life is about adversity. Life is about how you handle adversity, so.
That's right.
I'm doing a pretty good job of it. I'm here in L. A. , enjoying myself for once. So, I'm looking forward to trying to get back to L. A. and hopefully knock them knocks them champs off.
Right. Now, you have a ring. So, you're only, you're only, you know, in your mid-20s. That's a pretty big deal. You're out there clowning the other guys. How does it feel to like jump out there on the scene just to be like, you guys don't got a ring? Is it fun?
Uh, it's a little fun. I don't like to gloat as much. You know, I try to stay humble, but. It's good. Uh, it is one thing that none of the young point guards have is a ring.
I have to say that I'm a diehard Laker fan and I've been here all my life and I grew up here, so I'm not a bandwagon. But I have to say congratulations. I mean, like you really step it up and every time you're on the court, you scare me. Let me see those hands. Those are big things.
I use my advantage.
It's good. All right. You're pretty stealth out there. How do you steal the balls? What's your game?
Um, I'm trying to use my quickness.
Right.
My quickness and uh,
Uh-huh.
play as hard as I can.
All right. Can I choke you now? No. Just kidding.
Want to shout out to all my friends, Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics. Appreciate all the support all the years, continue to support me.
