Farrell honored at American Giving Awards

Irish actor Colin Farrell was honored for his charity work at a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles on Friday night (09Dec11)

The Hollywood actor, whose son James suffers from Angelman Syndrome, was feted at the American Giving Awards for his work raising awareness about the condition.

Other stars who attended the inaugural event at L.A.'s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion included Miley Cyrus, who presented an award, 50 Cent, Gabrielle Union and Donald Sutherland, while guests were treated to performances by LeAnn Rimes, will.i.am and Rodney Atkins.
