Ed Sheeran is convinced fellow British pop star Sam Smith will sweep the board at Sunday night's (08Feb15) Grammy Awards.
The Lego House hitmaker believes his pal will enjoy huge success at the revered music event in Los Angeles, where he is nominated for six prizes.
Sheeran tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "I think Sam will win a large amount of (Grammys). I don't think he's (going to) walk away with nothing..."
However, the Sing star, who is nominated for three prizes, fears he will not fare as well as Smith, adding, "All artists say this I know, but I'm not too fussed about winning - just because I probably won't. I never win anything!"
Sheeran is set to face off against Smith in two categories at the Grammy Awards. Sheeran's X will compete with Smith's In the Lonely Hour for both Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
