Singer Ed Sheeran raced to complete his musical tribute to his late grandfather, so he could debut the track on the day of the funeral.
The Brit wanted to get his family's approval before releasing Afire Love as a track on his new album X.
He tells Parade magazine, "I finished writing it on the day of his funeral, and played it for my whole family. Before it went any further, I needed to get the blessing of the people I care about."
