Country star Rodney Atkins is a new dad after welcoming his first child with his wife Rose Falcon on Thursday (14Dec17).
Little Ryder Falcon Atkins was born in Nashville, Tennessee.
The singer tells People.com his baby son's middle name is a nod to his wife's 96-year-old grandfather and her dad.
"He is by far the most precious early Christmas present ever for me, Rose and big brother Eli," Rodney says.
Eli is the Watching You star's teenage son from his previous marriage.
Atkins and Falcon announced the pregnancy in July (17).
