Taste That Ish with Nolan Gould

(bright tone) What's up Young Hollywood! I'm Nolan Gould, I'm here at Taste That Ish. We're about to play a game to figure out which is the most expensive. There's gonna be two items coming out and I'm gonna taste each one. I'm gonna guess which is the most expensive. And this is gonna be difficult because like I don't know. I'm on like an all like peanut butter and Top Ramen diet. Just like nice like 20 year old dude diet. So I have no idea how this is gonna go. But can't wait to find out! (upbeat jazzy music) Oh, okay, got some cheese here. I'm like so not a cheese connoisseur. I'm actually like for the first time in my life this year like found out what cheese was.

I like avoided cheese like the plague my entire life so. Let's see how this goes. Pick out which is the most expensive. (upbeat music) Um, (clears throat) that tastes pretty foul, which I feel like in cheese terms means that's really expensive. Like I think the more like awful and stinky, the more expensive it tends to be. And what is this one here? This has some kind of like, is this like rubber on top or what is this? Oh it's like the rind of it I guess. (upbeat music) God I have the worst palate ever! I can't tell any difference. I'm gonna go with this one just because it's got like the fancy rind on it. Is that the most expensive one? (cash register sound) Yay! (laughs) I win!

All right, let's see what's next. (funky upbeat music) (laughs) I don't, I don't trust this. I don't trust things that like, things that are this green. Like I don't like my food healthy. Aww, especially when it's like in shake form 'cause you don't know what's in there. You could have like sneakily like snuck something in that you don't want. Like first impressions, this one's darker. So like maybe there's like the good stuff in there, like the organic kale. (upbeat music) Oh, that's actually pretty good! Oh man, I should try being healthy more often. (upbeat music) Oh god! That's awful! Mmm (laughs) this is really a tossup.

It's like if I was going to buy one of these, which means that it'd probably be more expensive, like I wouldn't buy that. That's pretty bad. I would buy this one. This one is more expensive. (dramatic music) Jury says (buzzer sounds) Oh no! I don't like losing! (laughs) This game isn't fun! (laughs) I wanna win! All right, one to one. (upbeat music) Okay, now this, (laughs) now we're talking! I should definitely be able to do this. Although, I feel like you guys are trying to trick me because this is definitely freeze dried. This feels like a little more like homemade. So I'm like but maybe you guys are just, now you're just in my head! Now I'm like overthinking things.

'Cause this like clearly looks like cheap, like instant ramen, and this looks more professional. There's one way to find out. We're gonna eat it. Fun fact I do like not know how to use chopsticks either. Mmm. (upbeat music) Oh yeah, tastes like home. This is what I grew up on. It's like all of that natural flavoring, definitely real chicken in there. (upbeat music) Mmm. (upbeat music) All right, because I can totally tell that this little piece of corn here was like at one point freeze dried and then rehydrated, I'm gonna say that this is the more expensive one. (triumphant music, cash register sound) Oh yeah! See you guys, you guys can't bring out ramen 'cause I was made for this!

I'm also gonna put this down here. I'm gonna bring it home with me. (upbeat music) Hmm (laughs) this is gonna be a tricky one, water versus water, which is more expensive. Start with this one. (upbeat music) Okay my first impression after drinking this is that this is definitely water. I don't know what else to say about it besides the fact that it's water. Let's try this one. (upbeat techno music) Oh come on, there's no difference! (laughs) I think it's safe to assume that one of these is gonna be tap water. No, these are both bottled water? All right, hold on, I'm gonna need some more of this. (upbeat techno music) Hmm.

(upbeat techno music) Okay I actually, believe it or not, I think there's a difference. I think I'm gonna be able to tell. I'm like I'm willing to put money on this. This one is, this one's the most expensive one. This one is the least expensive. (buzzer sounds) Oh, no! (laughs) What? It's water, it's all the same thing! It's all expensive and dumb. Drink tap water and save the earth. (upbeat music) Okay now what I will say is that the plating is not perfect on these and that is bugging me. I feel like you guys could have done a better job with the presentation on this. But both of these things have been my breakfast for like the past 10 years of my life. Let's start with this.

Getting, uh, oh, this is chocolate chip. I was hoping it was blueberry. Oh, yeah! I just like when you can like feel your heart clogging as you're eating the food. Just like all of the trans fats. That's, that's just great. Oh, I think I might need some of that like expensive Italian water to wash this down. Um, (upbeat music) Let's be honest, there's like, it's gonna be like a 10 cents difference between these two things. (laughs) It's like this has gotta be the most bottom of the barrel stuff you guys have in this entire place. I'm gonna say this is the most expensive. (dramatic music, cash register sound) Yeah there we go! 'Cause I can literally, I can see the trans fats in here.

Like I can see the calories staring at me. It's so weird. I've never been able to see calories before. This is definitely the most expensive.
