Singer/actor Carlos Penavega and his actress wife Alexa Penavega are set to become first-time parents.
The couple announced the happy news on Instagram.com on Thursday (16Jun16), by posting a photo of them holding a pregnancy test.
"Breaking news," he wrote on the social media site. "It's #ClearblueConfirmed! There is going to be a new cool kid in town... And by cool I mean dorky just like their father. A little PenaVega is on the way!!! #ItsHappening #HolyWow #Imgoingtobeadaddy #clearbluepartner."
"I cannot believe I finally get to say this... WE'RE PREGNANT!!!," she added. "It's #ClearblueConfirmed that a little blessing is joining the PenaVega family!!! We can't wait!!! #ItsHappening #HolyWow."
Carlos and Alexa wed in January, 2014, and in January (16), the Big Time Rush star opened up about the pair's desire to become parents.
"I would love to get a mini PenaVega out, but it's a lot harder than I thought," he told news show Entertainment Tonight. "It's not easy. I'll just say, when it happens it happens."
