Brad Pitt is to test out his French language skills on the big screen in his new movie By The Sea.
The Hollywood actor stars opposite his wife Angelina Jolie, who is also the film's writer and director, and he has now revealed the action is set in France, so he is taking the opportunity to show off his linguistic ability.
Pitt, who owns a home in France with Jolie, tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "The film's set in France so it makes sense for me to speak it... And I think my French is pretty good, so my writer/director put a lot of the language into the script and we'll see how I do. My writer/director is tough as nails, as you know... My writer/director being my wife."
The couple is filming By The Sea in Malta.
