The Piano Man is playing at the city's Madison Square Garden every month throughout 2014 and his daughter Alexa Ray Joel has decided to follow suit by performing in the city.
The 28 year old, whose mum is supermodel Christie Brinkley, will perform a string of shows at the Cafe Carlyle in the Big Apple from 1-12 April (14).
The brunette performed a cover of her dad's hit Just The Way You Are for a Gap commercial last year (13).
