Young Hollywood

Okay, we're here. It's All-Star weekend, the Celeb Softball game. This is your home turf. You're from this state. This is your this is your team. Uh the vibe is amazing. Right.

Joel McHale

So I'll have all the advantages, so all the pressure is on me. Better be good. So that's why I started juicing about six months ago. A lot of anabolic steroids and HGH.

Young Hollywood

I was going to say what's your strategy going into the softball game today and if that's it, great. Have you stretched um BP looking?

Joel McHale

Oh yeah. No, if I stretch that I will immediately start tearing things and so I am much like a you know, like an antique chair. You don't want to sit in it. You just want to look at it and then then dust it off once in a while. And if a person accidentally sits in it once a year, it might curl up.

Young Hollywood

Okay, bring me back to your fondest MLB memory.

Joel McHale

Well, when the Mariners won the American League West or the American League. I mean, the the American League not the American League. They didn't They almost got to the uh uh to the World Series. They didn't this is in the kingdom with Griffy. Uh Randy Johnson was on the team. Uh Alex Rodriguez was on the team. It was a it was a glorious moment. And then when we won 116 uh regular season games, we literally never lost a series in 2001. That was glorious. And then we made the playoffs last year. And uh had to be reminded every time I turn on ESPN. They were like, "Oh, longest playoff drought in Major League Baseball." And I was like, "Okay, okay, calm down." We're going to be fine this year.

Young Hollywood

Oh yeah. You're in Hollywood, baby. Go Dodgers.

Joel McHale

Mariners go Mariners. It's okay. I root for the Dodgers cuz they're National League, but if we ever met, it's Mariners all the way.

Young Hollywood

Thanks for stopping by.

Joel McHale

Thank you Hollywood. Bye. It's been a long time, Mark.

Young Hollywood

I know. I mean, it's literally been a very long time. I know. Like a decade. Dude. All right, good to see you.
