15 Best WNBA Tunnel Looks So Far This Season!

Written by Cole Hediger. Published: July 11 2024

With the WNBA season in full swing, the tunnels have already been graced with a collection of showstopping looks that we just can’t get enough of. Not only are these women great players on the court, but they know how to dress to the nines. Here are our favorites so far!

1. Connecticut Sun’s DeWanna Bonner wearing a twist on the twist (styled by Marisa Ripepi) before her game versus the Washington Mystics in May. We’ve all seen a suit, but never one with this literal take on a "twist". The sharp clean lines, complemented by the chic purse and red heel, makes this look so sophisticated and a showstopper.

2. Sug Sutton, the Phoenix Mercury player, showed up in this streetwear look prior to her game against the Los Angeles Sparks. The crowning piece of this look is her patterned jacket, an accessory she doesn’t take away but instead showcases it. The touch of the shoes hinting to the color palette of her jacket is just a cherry on top.

3. This matching set from Ezi Magbegor of the Seattle Storm straddles the line between comfort and chic. The structured qualities of the set make for an incredibly tailored look, and the accessories soften the look into a more relaxed style with the sneakers and rounded sunglasses.

4. Indiana Fever’s Erica Wheeler makes the list with her tunnel look prior to her match against the Storm. The subtly textured dyed top with the cargo pants create for a more street-styled structured look that makes for a complex fit.

5. Cameron Brink of the L.A. Sparks joins some of her teammates on this list with her tunnel look. The lack of color doesn’t make the outfit any less fun -- rather, accents create shape, movement, and play. The large bell sleeves of the jacket, the thin-framed glasses, and the white cowboy boots... Absolutely love this look!

6. Connecticut Suns player Olivia Nelson-Ododa's contrasting styles and fabrics build an incredible look that just screams style. The matching denim pieces, from the boots to the skirt to the hat, create a sharp tie-in. These pieces are then complimented with the dramatic trench coat -- a perfect piece for a tunnel walk.

7. Sparks player Rae Burrell joins the list with her look for her game against the Indiana Fever. The layered tops with the white turtleneck and oversized vibrant sweater are to die for. Paired with an asymmetrical black mini-skirt and short boot, the look is overall a play with modern trends in fashion and personal style.

8. DiJonai Carrington’s stunning denim mini-dress paired with white boots is to die for! The chunky matching belt that bottoms the deep V of the open top creates shape in the Connecticut Sun player’s athletic body. Carrington’s look is polished with clear-framed glasses and her half-up/half-down hairstyle.

9. From the Las Vegas Aces, Jackie Young sports a top that’s literally pinned together to create a punk edge to the design. She dabbles in sandwiching the colors of this look as well, creating an overall cohesive look with the black top paired with the black shoes and the maroon pants and hat.

10. Joining her Aces teammate, A’ja Wilson makes the list of best looks with this playful outfit. The white fishnets with the red bubble skirt create such a fun cheerleader-esque look, as well as the graphic crop-top and tube socks. The star of this look, though, is the fuzzy red heart purse, which takes on its own life with this outfit.

11. DeWanna Bonner makes her second appearance on this list with her look from the Sun’s game against the New York Liberty. Taking another twist on the traditional tweed look, making it cropped and mini, Bonner showed off her style with this matching set. The thick-framed skinny sunglasses added as an accessory add a touch of edge to this academia look.

12. The Los Angeles Sparks’ Rickea Jackson absolutely left everyone speechless with this dramatic look. The structure of the oversized jacket creates a frame around Jackson’s body and drapes down to the floor in a long tail. Jackson plays with the size of this jacket by pairing it with a small silver purse and thin-strapped heels.

13. Stefanie Dolson of the Washington Mystics makes the look with this all black ensemble. With a simple base to the look -- a black cropped button-up and a black maxi-skirt -- Dolson makes this look so unique and incredible through accessories. Utilizing a less common accessory -- a harness -- adds texture and structure to the look. This with the chunky orange lens sunglasses, collection of rings, and chunky loafers, gets this look a chef's kiss.

14. New York Liberty's Breanna Stewart rocked this two-tone pinstripe suit back in May. The tailored three-piece set offers a completely unique approach to the idea of a suit. The originality continues with the quirky chunky frames and chunky shoes designed with a white swoosh pattern.

15. Last but not least, Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark in this all-denim look. The varying lengths of the crop top to the cropped jacket adds a layer where the fabric creates unity between the looks. The similar washed jeans accessorized with the black bag and black sunglasses elevates the look to a level of chic in subtle ways.
