Written by Abigail Hayes. Published: April 13 2022

The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and bright colors are everywhere. Spring is finally here and so are new fashion trends. It’s time to put away the cardigan and embrace new styles. Don’t know what to wear? Here is a complete list of what you should be wearing this Spring!

1. Cutouts

I hope you’re not afraid to show some skin this season, because cutouts have been proven to be a big trend on the runway. Many designers such as Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, and Giambattista Valli presented their clothing during Fashion Week and celebrities have been wearing it since.

2. Mini-skirts

Y2k fashion has made its presence very clearly on the runway lately, and mini-skirts are just a portion of it. Designers like Miu Miu have upgraded the idea of a mini-skirt into a micro-mini level. Fashion icons such as Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber have been seen wearing this clothing item and have surely inspired others to want to try it.

3. Hot Pink

Pastel colors are out and bright colors are in! This bright color will add a pop of refreshment to one’s outfit and liven them up. Icon Kim Kardashian wore a stunning hot pink catsuit for her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" and has frequently been spotted in the eye-popping color before and since. It was also the color of choice for celebs on the red carpet at this year's Grammy Awards. This just shows that hot pink is the new black.

4. Low-rise

What are high-rise jeans? Never heard of her. Low-rise is back! If you’re feeling nostalgic about the '90s, then pop on a pair of low-rise jeans and it’ll feel like you’ve never left. Designers Versace and Brandon Maxwell exhibited their belly-bearing designs during Fashion Week and left everyone talking.

5. Feathers

Feathers have been coming back for a while now, but it’s becoming more popular by the minute. Actress Rachel Zegler and singer Dua Lipa have not been shy about wearing feathers as a clothing item and they’ve been killing it every time.

6. Baby Tees

Do you still have that top from when you were four years old? Well, you’re in luck because a baby tee has become a statement piece for a while now. This '90s and early-‘00s trend is loved by many and is very popular with younger celebrities such as Olivia Rodrigo and Kendall Jenner.

7. Bermuda Shorts

Bermuda shorts are the classier version of jorts. These shorts can be paired with any basic top and still look put-together. Supermodel Bella Hadid has made bermuda shorts chic and I’m here for it!
