German Boy Band Elevator Boys Dish On Their Debut Single Runaway

So, we've done TikTok for two years now and throughout that time we always had the dream of becoming a boy band and um, being musicians, um, because we all have musical backgrounds. And yeah, now our dream became a reality, finally.

So basically, our first song, "Runaway" is about that one person that grounds you and makes you forget their everyday life and to forget the world around you. So, that's a thing we can really relate with that, that's why we chose to put out this song because we have barely seen our friends and family during the last two years. So, we know how important it is to take care of yourself, your mental health, and of your loved ones.

So, we have a lot of artists we would love to collaborate in the future with. I would say big inspirations for us are Justin Bieber, for sure. Kid Laroi, Post Malone, um, these kind of guys. Pretty big names. But yeah, we reached for the stars.

I would say Backstreet Boys. So, for Halloween last year, at Heidi Klum's I-wing party, we dressed up as the dead Back to Life Backstreet Boys. So, I would say we would go with the Backstreet Boys.

Yeah, I think N-Sync, oh this one.

I think it's our fifth time being here all together for a month or two. And every time it's new. We always live somewhere else in a house. And um, yeah, we love many places. We like the pier, we like the flea market. There's so many cool things to see. This time we loved hiking because we're up here in the hills. That's true. And we love meeting our friends here.

I think our favorite person to be stuck in an elevator with would be a producer, so we have like a musical session in an elevator, which we never had before. So like DJ Khaled, or Metro Boomin, for example. Um, Charlie Puth, Charlie Puth would be so cool. Yeah.

Yeah, that would be a dream. Heads up. To actually make elevator music.

So, we receive a lot of crazy messages, uh, for sure. Um, day by day, but one of the craziest messages we ever received is um, a fan of us came from Texas to LA just to meet us. Um, and this was a very, very special moment for us to see the love and the commitment to really meet us in person.

Yeah, actually the DM was her holding a pair of socks with our faces on it, and she was like, "I want to give you guys the socks. I came all the way from Texas." We still got them at home.

Watching our own videos from two years ago is sometimes embarrassing, I feel like. Sometimes. But on the other hand, there's always freedom of creativity. So, I'd say, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone that I'd be embarrassed to follow. Because anybody can do their thing. And I'm happy for people that they do their thing and not care what people think. And it's also entertainment. It is. So, keep going.

Like in America it's, it's really, really good, but it's heavy too, like you know, like burgers, like big pasta and stuff. So the American food is good, but sometimes unhealthy. So, it's easier to, to eat healthy in Germany. Of course.

No, I think that's like a common misconception. Okay. And cheesecake is from cheese.
