Rapper Snoop Dogg is mourning the death of his uncle, who has passed away the age of 70.
The hip-hop superstar's Uncle June Bug died on Friday (21Mar14), according to AllHipHop.com.
In a video posted on Instagram.com on Friday morning, the Gin and Juice hitmaker's cousin Daz Dillinger said, "I'm on my way to see my Uncle June for the last time. Shot out to my uncle, I love you forever... He was great on this earth, I love you."
Snoop Dogg followed up Dillinger's tribute by posting a series of photos on the social media site, writing, "Lord help me find peace this morning!! I'm so sad my uncle junebug!! Is gone on to heavan (sic)!!"
He added, "Rip. Uncle. Bugg. U were everythang (sic) to me!! N like u said next time u c me thangs want (won't) b (sic) the same!! I'm so hurt!!!!!!"
Details surrounding his cause of death have yet to be released.
