Mariah Carey was hospitalized in New York City on Sunday (07Jul13) after injuring herself on the set of her new music video.
The pop superstar dislocated her shoulder while filming a promo for a remix of her track #Beautiful with rapper Young Jeezy and she is now recovering at home.
Her spokesperson has assured fans that Carey is doing well after the accident, telling TheWrap.com, "Mariah injured herself while filming a video with Jeezy for the remix of #Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon. She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine."
Carey is expected to be back on stage when she performs at a Hurricane Katrina relief benefit show in New York City's Central Park on Saturday (13Jul13).
