Lady Gaga is overcome with emotion whenever she performs You And I because the new song is all about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Luc Carl.
The Paparazzi hitmaker wrote the tune while she was still dating the rocker, and the lyrics are all about rekindling a romance with an on/off lover.
On the track, she sings, "You taste like whiskey when you kiss me.../ I'll give up anything again to be your baby doll/ Yeah, this time I'm not leaving without you."
But Gaga admits she struggles to hide her feelings when she has to sing You and I now they are no longer together.
She tells Us Weekly magazine, "I get emotional each time I sing that song."
The pop superstar revealed the break-up during a recent TV interview and subsequently blamed her hectic work schedule for her "miserably pathetic" love life.
