Kevin Hart has reconciled with his once-absentee dad and admires the fact his old man doesn't live in the past....
Hart tells Men's Health magazine, "When he finally got himself together, he didn't harp on about what he did wrong and how it wasn't his fault. It was all, 'OK, this happened. How can I make it better?'
"He never complained... and I respect that. That's all I needed."
The Ride Along star's mother Nancy lost her battle with breast cancer in 2006.
