Rapper Drake cut short his Tuesday (08May12) concert in California on police orders.
The Best I Ever Had hitmaker was performing at Irvine's Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre but overran his scheduled time - forcing cops to step in to end the gig, as the venue is close to several residential areas, according to MTV News.
Drake complied, cutting three songs from his set, and he later reached out to disappointed fans on his Twitter.com page.
In a post, he writes, "Police made me cut the show short but I love you all for rocking with me Irvine."
