What's up, Young Hollywood? I am with the lovely ladies of Marvel's Cloak and Dagger. How are you guys doing?

Your show is known for having epic playlists throughout every episode. The music choices are amazing. I have the playlist on my phone.

Oh, you do?

I do. Okay. So, I want to know, what is your most played song right now out of your own playlist?

Oh gosh. Uh, well, we've been playing in my feelings. Oh my God, it's actually driving me crazy. She's like, stop. No more Kiki. You've got to stop at some point. Cuz I also only know that one line, my brain is going, Kiki, do you love me? Kiki, do you love me? In a loop. Stop singing at that point.

My go-to song is always, I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor.

In My Feelings by Drake, of course. The number one song in the country right now.

The show deals with a lot of flashbacks. I want to know, if you could flashback to any time on set that you experienced, what would you want to relive?

Me eating beignets in my trailer. Going back into the French Quarter, cuz it's the best place ever. It's so fun. And it's just the architecture is amazing. You can just walk around for hours and just be like, it's like eye candy the whole time. It's so beautiful. So.

I would say our first table read in, uh, for episode one. Yeah. That was like the first moment, uh, when, you know, we met all the Freeform people, all the Marvel people and they were just so welcoming. And, you know, for me, I was so new to everything. So it was just, you know, it was a good welcome for me and I felt at home.

I'd go back to the audition of these two. They were real, they were honest, they were young, they were sexy, they were cool, and they were raw and they were Tandy and Tyrone. Like everything. They were it. That was the first time that, you know, this sort of thing started coming to life, especially for Aubrey and I. So, I think I would go back to that as well.

This whole entire show, it's so big on self-discovery and I think that's so powerful. What would you say to the Young Hollywood fans on how to explore themselves and figure out who they truly are?

I'm so impressed with the younger generation. They're really getting out there and fighting for things that are important. I think they're the best generation so far that we've had. Um, you know, they actually give me hope for the future because they they seem to really know who they are. They seem to be able to express their emotions and talk about things I think better than my generation did. So, Yeah. I think that they should be giving us advice.

Yes. I mean, with the power of social media, it's really given everyone a voice to be heard. And with that, we have more diverse casting. We have colorblind casting and we're becoming more inclusive completely. So, the more we use our voice and be passionate about the things that we care about is really truly important at the end of the day.

Right to follow your dream, you'll never regret it. You'll almost always regret not trying it. It's like that simple.

Yeah. No, I agree. You know, I'm in that phase of my life right now, trying to figure out who I am, what I want out of life, what I'm meant to be doing. And, um, I think that should be an exciting time in your life. Obviously, there's going to be challenges along the way, but you got to accept them and push forward and move forward. And surround yourself with people who are going to support you and love you for who you are, you know?

Since we're at Comic-Con, it's known for its fans to camp out for panels and events. What's one thing you would camp out for?

I also think we we kind of share Michael B Jordan.

Anything Harry Potter.

Oh, that's a good one. For the New York Knicks opening opening game probably. That's the only thing I would sleep outside for. Only thing.

Yeah. Any Olivia Holt concert, you know, you got to get there and you just got to get there early.

If you could pick any superhero or villain, top three, who you would be your sidekick, who you would save, and then who you would battle? Who would you pick?

I want my sidekick to probably be, I'll stick with Cloak. I would probably want to save Baby Groot. And then I'd probably want to battle. I'm ambitious. And an overachiever. Thanos.

Wow, good choice.

Yeah.

Okay, so two of our answers are the same. I would want Dagger, of course. Want to defeat Thanos, but I would have to save Shuri from Black Panther.

That's a great answer. You got a crush or something or?

I mean, no. She's she's just black excellence. I love black excellence. She's a great one to save.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'd want to hang out with Spider-Man, so he can be my sidekick for a while. We'll save Spider-Gwen. And then, you know, like a good version of the Green Goblin would be nice to battle. See what he can do.

What can you tell your fans on what to expect for what's next for Cloak and Dagger?

We just knocked them on their butts and let's see how these two get up and take it back.

Was there anything from the comics that you kind of hope to see?

There was a point in the comics where a police car comes right at Cloak and he swallows it up and spits it into the ocean. So, if I keep complaining about budget, maybe we can pull that off at some point on the show. That would be epic.
