Chris Lighty's death ruled a suicide

Music mogul Chris Lighty's death has officially been ruled a suicide.

Mariah Carey and Sean 'Diddy' Combs' former manager was found dead in his New York apartment on Thursday (30Aug12) with a gunshot wound to the head, according to reports.

After completing an autopsy, the New York Medical Examiner's office confirmed on Friday (31Aug12) that Lighty died from a self-inflicted wound.

Police have said that there were no signs of foul play.

Stars including Carey, Combs, Rihanna, Ludacris, John Legend and Mary J. Blige have all paid tribute to the hip-hop mogul.
