And just like that, Shark Week is over. Checking to see if our limbs are still in place... Are you guys okay? Wow! That was intense. Couldn’t have picked a better host than the beast himself, Jason Momoa

Did you know that Jason wanted to be a Marine Biologist? He became Aquaman instead.

Let’s take a look at other celebs who enjoy swimming with sharks!

Just to name a few are Tiffany Haddish, Brad Praisley, William Shatner, Eric Bana, Eli Roth, Robert Irwin, Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Cast of “Jackass”, and uncle Snoop Dogg.

More and more celebrities are taking it upon themselves to go scuba diving with the Sharks. This underwater paradise doesn’t care about the glitz and glam of Hollywood. Celeb or not, everyone has to proceed with caution and follow safety protocols. Reminiscing on our favorite celebrity moments include:

1. When Tiffany Haddish dove in with lemon shark-infested water.

“Not a problem, this ain’t no different from my 'hood... Look ‘em in their little itty-bitty eyes and show them who the boss is,” said Tiffany Haddish after a scuba instructor explained safety precautions right before diving into the water with the sharks.

2. When country music mogul Brad Paisley played some country music underwater for the sharks.
The sharks became fascinated and quickly surrounded the singer. It’s safe to say he’s okay. Quite a concert they had underwater... it definitely stirred up some reactions with the sharkies! Who knew sharks were country fans?!

3. When William Shatner conquered his fears with the sharks.
That was definitely a sight to see as the legendary actor learned his way around the ocean, after having already conquered outer space as Captain Kirk. “Hey, I’m not afraid,” he said. “One of the greatest moments of my life.”

4. When Snoop Dogg had a “Sharkadelic Summer”.
“Ready or not, America, It’s Shark Week Season,” said Uncle Snoop. I’d say anytime "Snoop" and "sharks" are in the same sentence, you best hold on to your seats because that’s one heck of a chill ride. Come to think of it, we’ve never seen Snoop be afraid of anything. He’s always so… chill. We wonder if he passed on some of his (ahem) "secrets" to the sharkies to keep them calm...

Other brave celebs that have taken part in swimming with sharks include Bella Thorne, Ciara, January Jones, Chris Hemsworth, JB Smoove, Rihanna, Shaquille O’Neal, Will Smith, and our man Zac Efron, just to name a few. Turns out celebs are fascinated with sharks just as much as we are. Yes, they’re humans too!

Shark Week first aired 35 years ago in 1988 and has been a Summertime staple ever since. With so many years on the air, however, producers of the show have tried to keep things fresh and new by inviting some celebrities to host and sometimes even take part in a direct, hands-on approach with research and the thrill of diving with sharks, all while the cameras are rolling. This year, that honor went to Aquaman himself, Jason Mamoa. Past hosts include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, comedian Rob Riggle, basketball legend Shaquile O'Neal, and even the cast of "Jackass". Which, in hindsight, was probably not a good idea. In one segment, during some shenanigans in the ocean, a shark decided to take a bite out of Sean McInerney aka "Poopies". Thankfully he wasn't seriously hurt, but we're certain that that is a stunt they will not attempt again…or so we hope…

Well, kids, it’s been real. Till next time!
