Britney Spears's fiance Jason Trawick has petitioned to be the singer's co-conservator along with her father Jamie Spears, according to a report.
The Toxic hitmaker's father Jamie was placed in charge of her legal and business affairs in 2008 following the singer's much-publicised breakdown and hospitalisation.
Spears' dad has continued to look after her estate but her legal team is working with Jamie to come up with a plan to gradually transfer control of the estate back to the singer.
E! Online editors are reporting that Trawick, under the behest of Jamie, is attempting to share conservatorship duties with Spears' father. The website reports that he will only have control over her well-being, not her finances.
Spears attended a hearing relating to the matter at Los Angeles County Superior Courthouse last month (Mar12), and is reportedly set to attend another hearing in April (12).
