Jenna Ushkowitz: Tina from "Glee"

Welcome to Younghollywood. com. Hey everyone, it's Michele Marie with Young Hollywood. We are here rooftop at the Sunset Towers Hotel with Jenna Ushkowitz, from Glee as you all know. We're here at the Jacob & Co. Emmy preview, and you just stumbled upon some awesome jewelry. Pretty incredible, huh? Look at that.

Yes. I know. I was just saying to her, I am worth about $60,000 right now.

I don't even want to know what I'm worth right now. This is so much fun. I mean, Emmy time is always a great time of year. And this is, is this your first Emmy's? Or did you guys go last year?

First Emmy's, yes. Yes, we were just like, you know, premiering right around the time of the Emmy's last year.

So, this is a really, really big deal for you guys.

Um, I'm so excited. You know, we're just going to go in and have fun. The nods were just incredible and so we're just there to celebrate.

You know what's pretty funny? Because the first time that I interviewed you was like at the, the preview right, right when you guys just premiered the show. Tina is just like the complete opposite from Jenna, I think. She is like god-thing punk rocker with her blue nails. You guys had no idea at that time how big this was going to get. And like, look at it now. How do you feel about the way your life has changed in such a really short amount of time?

Um, it's been really incredible. It's just uh, we get to do all these opportunities that we never would have been able to do without Glee. And uh, just like, we get to do a TV show where you sing and dance. So, it's like a dream come true. And everything has been so, so wonderful for us.

It's beautiful up here. You're spending a whole week getting ready for the big, big Emmy. So, how are, how are you preparing? What do you, what do you do as far as preparing for a big show? Do you have essentials that you have to go to?

Um, I definitely go to Bliss Spa and get myself a massage and, you know, work that out. But, besides that, we're working up until Friday. So, yeah, then we'll do, you know, a couple of Emmy parties and uh, enjoy the day.

So, day of Emmy's, what's the first thing you're going to do when you wake up?

Probably say, "It's Emmy Day!"

So, you guys are shooting right now. And what can we expect with the upcoming season with your character?

Um, you will see some Tina Arty drama, more. Maybe some Tina and Mike Chang. Um, there's a love triangle. Yeah, I'm really excited. I have two boys fighting over me. Who doesn't love that? Um, yeah, it's going to be really great. It's a lot more storylines, a lot more background. So, it's a little bit more intimate season two.

Now, I saw, I took to Twitter like I always do. And I saw that Britney Spears is going to be guest starring, starring on the show. That's totally insane. How do you feel about that?

Um, she was my idol. So, I'm really excited. Yeah, and we, we got to meet her and she's so lovely and just professional and wonderful and so sweet. So, um, we're just so happy for her to be a part of the show and get her music and, you know, it's really great.

Now, when you first started Glee, you know, you went on the show and you guys had to meet all new people. The cast members are so great and it seems like you guys are really, really a big family. So, how was the chemistry and what do you think it is about each person that you love?

Um, you know, I think that we didn't have to work at the chemistry is what made the show so special, is that we are a family. It just organically happened. And everybody um, is just so different and we learn from each other every day. And um, we push each other and we laugh and we hang out outside of work. So, I think that's what's, you know, so great about the show is that it's kind of organic for us.

When you're on set, you guys are on the set for a long, long time. So, you have to keep yourself busy. So, who's the prankster on the set? Cause I'm sure you guys do pull pranks on each other. I heard about that.

Probably Amber's a prankster. She loves to have some fun. When she gets bored, she doesn't, she doesn't let herself get bored. And Cory is a goofball set. He'll just like bad dance and we'll all kind of just run around the room. Diana loves to dance. We have a great time.

Awesome. Well, we'll have to visit it soon.
