5 Athletes From The 2026 Winter Olympics We Want To See On "Dancing With the Stars"!

Olympians aren’t shy when it comes to bringing their skills to the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom floor. Just this past season, gymnast Jordan Chiles quickly became a fan favorite and made it all the way to the finale, landing in 3rd place! Many Olympians have even gone on to win the Mirrorball Trophy, the most recent being figure skater Adam Rippon, who won 2018’s all-athlete season. Here are 5 athletes from this year’s Winter Olympics that we would love to see on "Dancing With the Stars"!
1. Alysa Liu
After briefly retiring from figure skating following the 2022 Beijing Olympics, Liu made her return to the Olympic ice this year, and was back and better than ever! Her free skate to Donna Summer’s "MacArthur Park Suite" won her a gold medal, making her the first U.S. woman to win a figure skating medal since 2006, and the first to win gold since 2002. We think her seemingly effortless grace and joyful energy would make her absolutely shine in the "DWTS" ballroom!
2. Ilia Malinin
After his amazing short program titled "The Lost Crown", it’s no surprise why figure skater Malinin was nicknamed the "Quad God". The program featured multiple quads, his signature "Raspberry Twist", a one-handed cartwheel, and even a backflip! Although his free skate didn’t go as planned, he still played a crucial role in securing the gold medal for the U.S. figure skating team. We think his impressive tricks and electrifying charisma would easily make him a fan favorite on "DWTS"!
3. Chloe Kim
The 2026 Games marked Kim's 3rd Olympic appearance. Although the 2-time Olympic gold champion didn’t receive the third consecutive gold she was hoping for, the snowboarder still gave an insanely impressive performance, ultimately winning silver in the women’s halfpipe. After having made it to the semi-finals on Season 4 of Fox’s "The Masked Singer", we would love to see what she would bring to the "DWTS" ballroom!
4. Madison Chock
Chock skated alongside her husband Evan Bates for two categories in the 2026 Olympic Games. Their passionate and precise free dance to "Paint It Black" by Ramin Djawadi maintained their second place position, winning them a (contested) silver medal. Despite the scoring controversy, the pair still played a significant part in Team USA securing the gold medal for the team figure skating event. We believe the technique and energy that Chock showcases throughout her routines clearly speaks as to why she would be amazing on "DWTS". We would especially love to see her compete directly against Bates!
5. Aidan Oldenburg
The Team USA curler, who has been nicknamed "Curling Rambo", made his Olympic debut at the 2026 Games. His nickname comes from his signature red headband, which resembles the one worn by Sylvester Stallone throughout the Rambo film franchise. Many viewers have noted Oldenburg’s resemblance to Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, AKA "Pommel Horse Guy", prompting Nedoroscik to send Oldenburg a video wishing him luck at this year’s Games. Nedoroscik is also a "DWTS" alum, having landed in 4th place on Season 33, and we would love to see Oldenburg reach a similar level of success on the show!
