British actor Toby Kebbell has become the frontrunner to play villain Doctor Doom in the new The Fantastic Four movie.
The 31 year old looks set to beat out the likes of Jack Huston, Domhnall Gleeson, Eddie Redmayne and Sam Riley to land the menacing role in the much-anticipated action film, according to Variety.
If he signs on, the War Horse star will join a cast of other rising actors, including Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.
Julian McMahon previously played Dr. Doom in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007.
