Nelly Furtado has confessed her secret criminal past - she regularly stole sweets as a teenager.
The Maneater hitmaker admits she was a tearaway teen and would often shoplift from a local store near her home in Victoria, British Columbia.
She tells British magazine S, "My song Parking Lot really reminds me of being 14 years old and hanging out around the 7 Eleven (general store) with my friends until 4am, stealing sweets. I thought I was a bad-a** back then."
