Katharine McPhee's mail stolen

Actress/singer Katharine Mcphee fell victim to a bizarre mail theft on Monday (18Jan16).

Neighbours of the Scorpions star saw a woman searching a car near her California home and confronted the suspect, who threw away a collection of papers as they fled the scene.

Although the vehicle did not belong to Katherine, letters addressed to the former American Idol contestant were found among the discarded loot.

Police officers were called to the scene and arrested a suspect on suspicion of felony car burglary, according to TMZ.com.
