Justin Timberlake is patient with film career to avoid pigeonholing

Timberlake insists his patience paid off as it made sure he wasn't "pigeonholed".

He tells the New York Times, "I don't think in genres. Early on especially, I turned down a lot of scripts that were targeted to a demographic I already had. It's about being patient, and having something in the back of your mind about not getting pigeonholed."
