The Wolf Of Wall Street co-stars Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio are reteaming for a new movie about the Georgia police officer suspected of planting a bomb at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.
Richard Jewell was initially hailed a hero after he discovered a backpack full of pipe bombs and evacuated the area, but he became a media target after it was discovered that FBI profilers had him listed as a suspect. Jewell was never charged and was eventually exonerated.
Hill and DiCaprio will produce and star in the biopic, which will be adapted from a Vanity Fair article, titled The Ballad of Richard Jewell.
