Demi Lovato has posted a picture of herself posing in a bikini on Twitter.com after finding "peace" with her body after overcoming a series of image issues.
The Disney star checked into a rehabilitation center last year (10) to deal with a number of problems, including an eating disorder.
Demi Lovato has been working hard on beating her issues and she is urging other sufferers to find the confidence to overcome their image problems.
After posting a photo on Twitter of her smiling in a mirror wearing just a white halter-neck bikini, she writes, "I've been working so hard to get healthy and fit... I can't believe I'm about to do this but I'm so excited... Here's my bikini time body!
"I never thought I'd ever feel confident enough to ever (do) that. I'm excited how far I've come since being completely ashamed of my body... I want any girl/guy out there who struggles with body image or confidence to know that it IS possible to find peace with yourself.
It hasn't been easy, but it starts with a commitment to yourself... Your mind... And your soul. And trust me, I'm still working at it!! Haha."
And singer Jordin Sparks has already congratulated Lovato over the picture, writing, "WORK GIRL!!! you look amazing!!"
