Dakota Fanning is planning to break with tradition by shunning a big party for her upcoming 21st birthday.
The former child star marks the milestone on 23 February (15), but the War of the Worlds actress is tempted to skip a big bash and stay in with her closest friends instead.
She tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I have no idea what to do. It's been such a talked-about thing for so long, like, what are you gonna do for your birthday, that I think by the time it rolls around I'm just going to stay home with five friends and call it a day."
