Hollywood star Dakota Fanning has enrolled at New York University, according to a report.

The War of the Worlds star graduated from high school in June (11), and reports emerged suggesting she was set to head to the prestigious East Coast university.

Now, student website nyulocal.com has fuelled the speculation by discovering Dakota Fanning's email address in the campus' online directory.

The actress was first spotted checking out the university last year (10).
