Christina Aguilera was given an early 30th birthday present during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show - the host presented her with a giant birthday cake and a semi-naked hunk.
The singer sat down for a chat with the presenter in an episode which is due to air on Friday (19Nov10).
DeGeneres surprised the newly-single star by having a huge fake cake wheeled on to the stage to celebrate Aguilera's upcoming 30th birthday on 18 December (10).
But Aguilera was in for an extra shock when a bare-chested male dancer burst out of the top of the cake, holding a red rose for the stunned star, who was left open-mouthed by the gesture.
Speaking about her upcoming birthday, Aguilera told DeGeneres, "You're more comfortable in your own skin as a woman. You have a better idea of what you want and how to get it. At this time in my life, it's a huge turning point, it's a transitional stage and I'm ready. I'm ready."
Aguilera split from her husband, Jordan Bratman, earlier this year (10).
