Charli XCX of Summer album hit Brat fame is taking the next steps of her career with an reported upcoming movie with A24!

Charli XCX is partnered with A24 for the movie, spearheading the launch of her new production company, Studio365. A24, a favorite among cinephiles for the studio’s subversive film style, couldn’t be a better option for Charli. The two are wonderful in their approach to challenging norms within their respective fields, and this collaboration will definitely be one for the books.

The plot of the movie has yet to be revealed, but it has been reported that Charli herself has come up with the idea behind the project. The movie will be titled The Moment, incredibly reflective of Charli’s brand as she has been influential in the zeitgeist of our past summer and the new wave of party culture in the mid-2020s.

Rumor has it that A.G. Cook, long-time collaborator and producer of various Charli albums, will also contribute to the score of the motion picture. This is great news for both parties, knowing that Cook’s heartbeat in Charli’s music continues in this process and will definitely make a lasting impact on the world of film. She is also stated to be working with filmmaker Aidan Zamiri, the mind behind her "360" and "Guess" music videos. This will be Zamiri's directorial debut, his first foray outside of the fashion and music world. It’s also reported that Zamiri has had a hand with the screenplay, helping Charli with the script for the movie.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Charli’s acting chops. She has been credited in a couple film projects and even has a voice acting credit from 2016. Charli’s transition from music into the film scene is going to be a revolutionary step for the world of XCX!
